The book is in fact the miscellany published as a material for the 7th International Symposium on Water Tracing, held in Slovenia in 1997. In the volume there are 63 papers on karst water from the World around. The content is grouped in several chapters: Methods, Surface waters, Unsaturated zone, Aquifer, Contamination transport and protection, Aquifer parameters and modelling. There is not a lot of theory but examples of real conditions mostly. The content is illustarted by numerous sketches, graphs, tables and some black and white photos. Among the authors there are World's well known and recognized specialists of karst hydrology.
