The book Prešernovska struktura in svetovni literarni sistem (The “Prešernian Structure“ and the World Literary System) approaches world literature as an idea as well as a system of the transnational circulation of texts. In this context, it offers a critical revision of the notion of ‘Prešernian structure’, a central notion of Slovenian literary studies. This results in an original reflection on Slovenian literature in its relation to world literature as well as in a pioneering examination of the Slovenian reception of the notion of world literature.
