Teoretska praksa arhitekture

Editorial Board: Petra Čeferin, Tadej Glažar, Rado Riha, Peter Šenk
Period: since 2014

The series ('Theoretical Practice of Architecture') makes a systematic contribution to the construction and development of a theory of architecture based on or primarily derived from philosophical thought. The editorial concept of the collection is based on the conviction that theory is an integral part of the practice of architecture itself. Practice is understood here as reflection-in words, drawings, built form, computer simulation, etc. - on the fundamental questions of architecture in relation to being, constructing/building, the relationship between space and place, and man's place in the world. Translations of foreign works of architectural theory form the core of the collection, with an emphasis on texts-both older and newer-that are relevant to contemporary architectural practice and of interest to other areas of the humanities and social sciences.
