Mediji in govorjena slovenščina. Zbornik s posveta.

Edited by: Boris Kern
Year: 2022

Proceedings of the conference Media and Spoken Slovene, which was held on 25 September 2020 in the Atrij ZRC and organised by the Fran Ramovš Institute of the Slovenian Language ZRC SAZU, contain articles from twelve invited experts, mainly from the fields of linguistics and media. They presented their views on the current state of the Slovenian language in the media, some of them also from the perspective of political pressures and tendencies to change media legislation in 2020, which was the direct impetus for organising the conference. The proceedings also include a transcript of the debate that accompanied the conference, as well as a contribution by colleagues from RTV Slovenija outlining language policies at this national public broadcasting organization.
