Janez Trdina med zgodovino, narodopisjem in literaturo (Janez Trdina among Historiography, Ethnography and Literature) is a jubilee monograph, published at the anniversary of birth (and death) of a Slovenian writer, ethnographer and historian Janez Trdina (1830–1905). Trdina was a controversial radical nationalist, whose extensive opus remains intriguing up to the present day due to its unusual, eclectic mixture of genres and discourses. A book consists of an introduction and eleven chapters on various aspects of Trdina’s life and writing, and is richly illustrated with photographs.
