The edited collection Diskurz: od filozofije govorice do teorije ideologije (Discourse: From Philosophy of Language to Theory of Ideology) offers the latest Slovenian interventions in discourse theory. In addition, it brings forth their theoretical background as it was developed in the past decades in a series of seminal Slovenian studies in linguistics, sociology and philosophy, which are thus for the first time collected as part of a collective theorisation of the problematic of language. As such, the volume brings together texts that work within a specific Slovenian materialist theoretical and philosophical tradition in order to intervene in ordinary language philosophy and its continental theoretical reception. The book presents these texts as a series of contributions to a nascent theory of ideology.
